Charles L. Whaley Collection
The Charles L. Whaley Collection contains five boxes of materials produced by or related to Charles Whaley and Lois Linnenkohl Whaley and their lives as missionaries to Japan. The collection also includes yearbooks from Seinan Gakuin University. Most of the items in the second accession are undated and were kept in their original order.
Ebb G. Kilpatrick, Jr., Collection
The Ebb G. Kilpatrick, Jr. Collection contains biographical data, correspondence, and sermon notes from Kilpatrick’s career. Kilpatrick’s sermon notes are listed at the item level.
Ebb G. Kilpatrick, Sr. Collection
The Ebb G. Kilpatrick, Sr., Collection consists of sermons, clippings, and photographs. The items have been well preserved.
Eleanor Fay Allen Cunningham Collection
The Eleanor Fay Allen Cunningham Papers contains one scrapbook (1948-50), one letter from Ms. Cunningham (September 15, 1995), and one loose photograph of Ms. Cunningham (c.1995).
Eric Klingelhofer Collection
The Eric Klingelhofer Collection contains two folders of materials related to the Faculty Welfare Committee at Mercer University: one covering 1990-93 and another 1994-96. Correspondence, meeting notes, and handouts are included and deal with issues such as faculty salaries, sabbatical policies, and University policies on faculty members’ consulting or taking other jobs outside their University duties.

Ferrol Sams Collection
The Ferrol Sams collections contains eleven boxes of handwritten and typed book manuscripts, both edited and unedited; it also contains the author’s correspondence and other personal papers.
Frank A. Hooper III Collection
The Frank Arthur Hooper III Collection consists of 29 carte de visites, 16 cabinet cards, and one memory book. The items were donated by Marjorie F. Hooper, widow of Frank Arthur Hooper, III, who was the grandson of Frank Arthur Hooper of the Mercer University class of 1885. During his grandfather’s time at Mercer, he collected carte de visites of classmates and other students during that time. Most of the cabinet cards are unlabeled and are likely of family members.
George Van Greene Collection
The George Van Greene Collection contains correspondence and news articles related to the integration process at Mercer University in 1960s. The correspondence is between Greene, Mercer University faculty and staff, and Macon community members. The focus of some of the correspondence is on Sam Oni, the first African American student to attend Mercer University.
