The George S. Carpenter Collection contains brief biographical papers, including a magazine sketch of his life, a letter from the President of Mercer University, and a proclamation for a day in his honor. The collection also contains some court materials that he actively worked on, as well as Superior Court Judges of Georgia items.
George Van Greene Collection
The George Van Greene Collection contains correspondence and news articles related to the integration process at Mercer University in 1960s. The correspondence is between Greene, Mercer University faculty and staff, and Macon community members. The focus of some of the correspondence is on Sam Oni, the first African American student to attend Mercer University.

The collection consists of sermon notes, correspondence, essays, and other materials belonging to both men. Series 1 contains of papers from William Thomas Godard. Series 2 contains of papers from George Delma Godard.

Helen Shaw Harrold Collection
The Helen Shaw Harrold Papers contains one scrapbook compiled by Helen Shaw Harrold, documenting the Women’s Suffrage Movement, 1915-1916. Pages are loose, no longer bound. The scrapbook contains news clippings, publications, by-laws and documents, and personal letters and notes. Contents are in the order in which Ms. Shaw compiled them.
