Biographical / Historical
Henry McCleskey was a citizen of Spalding County in the 1800s. It is believed that he served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Otherwise, not much is known about Henry McCleskey. Mr. McCleskey accumulated many drawings from various periodicals and then found biblical passages that he thought properly accompanied them.
