With this collection comes two boxes of Pinckney Pollock’s work. In box 1, one can find correspondence, and within box 2 one can find memorial addresses, newspaper clippings, and Trustees’ Minutes excerpts.

Biographical / Historical
Pinckney D. Pollock was President of Mercer University from 1896 to 1903, the first layman to hold the office. During his time as president, he oversaw the construction of Groover, Ware, and Wiggs halls as well as doubled both the faculty and student bodies.
