This collection contains materials related to the dedication of the Jack Tarver Library on Mercer University’s Macon campus, newspaper clippings either about or by Jack Tarver, photographs, a brief biography of Jack Tarver, and a small amount of correspondence sent to or by the Tarver family.

Scope and Contents The collection primarily consists of music and theatre programs collected by Lantz during her lifetime. These programs include Lantz’s performances and those that she attended at Indiana University, Tift College, and Mercer University. The programs were originally grouped by organization and date, and this order has been retained where possible. Some programs include handwritten notes on the front and/or back of the item. Scope and Contents The collection contains a book that was given to William Singleton from Thomas Stocks. Singleton wrote that the book was given to him at Penfield in 1863, and a good third of the volume includes mathematical problems from 1864. Lists of Mercer matriculates from the administration of Pres. H. H. Tucker, dating from the Spring 1867 term through the Fall 1870 term, follow the mathematical problems.
