Juneteenth

The Mercer University Libraries celebrates Juneteenth (June 19) in honor of our African-American students, faculty, and staff. During Juneteenth, check out the virtual book display presentation at the Swilley Library in Atlanta and in the lobby of the Douglas and Henry RAC centers on the Digital Information Screens.

In-Person Memorial Day Weekend Hours

Swilley Library & Tarver Library

Swilley Library and Tarver Library will observe the Memorial Day holiday with these hour changes: 

Sunday, May 29, our in-person services will close early at 6:00 PM, and our services will remain closed on Monday, May 30. 

24/7 access will be available via Bear Card for current students, faculty, and staff.

World Day for Cultural Diversity

The Mercer University Libraries is excited to celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on Saturday, May 21. Watch the Q&A videos featuring Dr. Ansley Booker, the Director of Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives and Felix Jelen, the Assistant Vice President of Global Engagement. Both of them discuss why cultural diversity is important at Mercer University. Also, take a look at the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Collection in Kanopy, which is accessible through the library.
