SERIES 1: CARTER AND AGNES MORGAN
Scope and Contents
The Carter and Agnes Morgan Collection contain materials documenting their missionary life over the course of the twentieth century. They contain a transcript of Edgar L. Morgan’s (Carter’s father) journal chronicling his work in China from 1905-1927; Post Scripts, newsletters written by Carter as he and Agnes served as missionaries in Hawaii, Hong Kong, and the Philippines from 1948-1996; and biographical materials and a diary from Silas Emmet Stephens, Carter’s uncle and a missionary to China. The collection was compiled by Carter Morgan.
